Foundation of Aktion West-Ost Friends – what for?
The activities of Aktion West-Ost are financially supported by various sites (link to "Network: Sponsors"). Nevertheless, there are always expenses that cannot be financed by the support of these institutions. Through the supporters of Aktion West-Ost the association has funds at its disposal that can be used not only according to the sponsorship criteria, but also flexibly for the needs of a better youth and exchange work. These funds also represent a certain security for the active members of Aktion West-Ost: Even if funding commitments for meetings and projects are only received in the short term, events can be planned and carried out.
In addition, we would like to give the association former active members of Aktion West-Ost the opportunity to stay in touch with the association and remain informed about current activities.
Aktion West-Ost Association of Friends and Sponsors: why?
With the money from the support foundation meetings are possible, internships in the office and urgently needed purchases are financed. Perhaps, the most important thing is that not every idea is 100% suitable to the ideas that sponsors can be found for and that the participant contributions for events are also be kept within limits.
Aktion West-Ost Association of Friends and Sponsors: who, how, and how much?
Every person or organization can become a part of this association. The minimal fees haven’t been changed once they’ve been agreed upon at the general meeting. According to the regulations, there’s a fee system. The fees vary from donators: it could be Aktion West-Ost friends or Aktion West-Ost sponsor friends. The minimal fee for friends is 12 Euro per year; the minimal recommended fee for Aktion West-Ost sponsor friends is 60 Euro per year. However, we are happy to receive any amount and appreciate any donation that we can get.
Aktion West-Ost Association of Friends and Sponsors is public, so every donator can declare his or her donations.
According to what rules is the money used?
The regulations can be viewed, printed out, and read. The organization pursues the non-profit purposes of the youth education and international understanding. Once a year, the general meeting takes place. The board reports about the previous year and plans the future activities there. The general meetings usually happen in accordance with federal committee meetings, in order to keep the organizational expenditure and the related costs in line.
