Im Sommer werden sich alle Verbände und viele Partner der Aktion West-Ost in Litauen zu einer Jugendbegegnung der besonderen Art treffen - herzliche Einladung zu diesem Projekt! Auf der Begegnung wird Englisch unsere "Verkehrssprache" sein, somit haben wir bereits die Einladung auf Englisch verfasst - we're looking forward to 10 extraordinary days in summer!
In our project „Lithuanian Eurotrip“ seventy young people from six counties of the European Union – from Czech Republic, Lithuania, Poland, Slovakia, Germany and Hungary are invited to come together. From the 30th of July to the 8th of August we will discover together one of Europe’s smaller countries: Lithuania. We will get to know each other and the different backgrounds we are coming from.
Our project will take place in three different phases and places:
1. At the beginning meeting in Lithuania‘s seaport Klaipėda (30.07.2010 - 02.08.2010), getting to know each other
2. International mixed teams will travel on different ways through the country. They’ll have three days time to find out something about Lithuania under various topics (02.08.2010 - 05.08.2010)
3. All groups gather in the capital Vilnius, and present each other and in public, what they learned about Lithuania and about themselves as Europeans on their trip (05.08.2010—08.08.2010)
You’ll be able to choose a topic for the travelling time in small international mixed teams, here’s the topics we will discover:
Majorities and minorities
Living in the city and the countryside
Protection of the environment and ecology
Religion, faith and believe
Youth in Lithuania
Arts and Culture
Music and Culture
History
Health and Sports
Eating and drinking
This trip gives you the opportunity to:
Discover Lithuania together with other young people - in a totally different way than you would as a tourist
Make new friends and establish contacts with youth from other European countries and cultures
Experience, what it means to be European
Have a lot of fun!!!

Costs for Participants from Germany: 200 €
